Relief Printmaking – Woodcut

Introduction Woodcut has similarities with linocut and mokuhanga (Japanese for ‘wood’ and ‘printmaking’) as all three techniques use a variety of tools (knives, gouges and V-tools) to cut into the printing plate (block).
